The Partner Relations and Marketing Coordinator is responsible for driving business growth, fostering partnerships and coordinating marketing activities for the Study Abroad team. The role focuses on building and maintaining strong relationships with university partners, managing events and ensuring alignment of marketing efforts across regions. This position is essential to expanding Study Abroad’s brand visibility and supporting business objectives through strategic partnership development and event coordination.

You’re perfect for this position if you:

  • Have a bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, communications or a related field
  • Have a minimum of three years prior experience in a business relations, marketing or customer service role 
  • Have previous experience in student recruitment and international education would be advantageous but is not essential  
  • Are open to international travel which will be required as part of the role from time to time
  • Have clear and professional communication skills to engage with international clients and partners
  • Are naturally skilled at establishing and maintaining positive relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Have a strong client service orientation with a willingness to go the extra mile to assist partners and clients 
  • Can manage multiple tasks effectively ad maintain attention to detail
  • Can coordinate events and handle basic project tasks
  • Can take initiative, be self-motivated and proactive 
  • Can manage changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment
  • Are comfortable working with team members across various departments and regions 
  • Are computer literate, proficient in typing and have experience using CRM systems, MS Excel, Word and Outlook
  • Have excellent reporting skills

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

Business development

  • Lead generation and conversion: Identifying and following up on potential new clients, converting warms leads into students for the Study Abroad programme
  • Present services: Presenting and communicating Study Abroad services clearly to interested students and partners 
  • Track progress: Planning and forecasting goals to help the team meet its sales targets
  • Support university and partner relations: Helping develop and maintain good relationships with partner universities and agents, supporting the team in expanding these connections
  • Product promotion: Promoting Study Abroad services and keeping partners informed of new offerings and events

Communications and relationship coordination

  • Brand awareness: Increasing brand awareness through regular communication with media, clients and internal teams, ensuring accurate and consistent messaging
  • Team updates: Sharing team updates with the larger organisation, making sure everyone is informed about new developments

Event coordination – Education fairs and expos

  • Event planning: Planning education expos and fairs, coordinating with the Business Development (BD) team and university partners 
  • Onsite coordination: Setting up and coordinating events to ensure smooth delivery 
  • Budget and marketing materials: Managing event budgets and materials needed for each event
  • Event reporting: Collecting feedback and preparing basic reports for each event to inform senior managers of successes and areas for improvement

Reporting and coordination

  • Quarterly reporting: Preparing quarterly performance summaries for partner universities and agent
  • Team meetings: Coordinating meeting to discuss marketing and events updates, sharing insights and leaning from leadership
  • Consistent branding and product updates: Ensuring that branding and service offerings are consistent across all regions and align with each team’s needs
  • CRM updates and data accuracy: Keeping CRM records up to date, ensuring accurate and secure data for clients and partners

Client and partner management 

  • Relationship building: Building positive relationships with institutional partners and advisers, supporting ongoing communication and rapport
  • Product knowledge: Staying informed about Study Abroad products and services to answer client inquiries effectively
