    Brent was born and raised in South Africa and then travelled to the UK as an international student, where he completed his master’s degree with Anglia Ruskin University. He worked for several public universities in the UK and the US with a continuous focus on Africa. He has spent time travelling the entire continent, supporting students on their journeys to study abroad.

    In 2016, he moved back to South Africa where he set up a pan-African study abroad consultancy. He joined Sable International in 2021 and now manages the Study abroad division.

    When he is not travelling, you will find him in the water, surfing. 

  • Sean Chunga
    Regional Director: Zambia

    Sean has a diverse and extensive background in international business, with a focus on marketing, design and product management, with 15 years of experience working with multinational corporations in Africa, Europe and Asia.

    He was educated in Australia, Europe and Asia, studying International Business and Business Management at Edith Cowan University/Swinburne University of Technology Sarawak Campus and Interior Design at The Florence Design Academy.

    Before joining Sable International, he led a diverse portfolio of start-ups from renewable energy to sustainable property development. He also founded StudentLink, one of the most diverse, up and coming, study abroad agencies in Zambia, which has now merged with Sable International. He brings with him five years of higher learning education experience.

    Outside of work, he enjoys outdoor activities, sports, traveling and reading.

  • Tendai Sibindi
    Partner Relations Coordinator

    Tendai specialises in digital media, marketing and business development with nine years worth of experience in marketing. He has worked in Cape Town and in Harare for companies, events, sports teams and restaurants, plus created campaigns to launch, rebrand and establish brands in the market.

    Tendai graduated from the University of Cape Town with a Bachelor of Social Sciences in Sociology and Psychology, and a Postgraduate Diploma in Tourism Management.

    As the Partner Relations Coordinator, Tendai will be working closely with our university partners with the aim of growing their brands in our respective markets. By hosting events and initiating marketing and communications campaigns in collaboration with the university partners, recruitment will be boosted for Sable International and for the universities. He will be driving marketing campaigns and managing events to strengthen the Sable International Study Abroad brand in all of our regions.

  • Lekan Olufeyisan
    Head of Admissions

    Lekan Olufeyisan is a graduate of Biology from University of Abuja. He is passionate about the education industry and he has been contributing to it for many years, even before graduating from the university.

    He was the official in-country representative for Curtin University, Australia and later for University of Chester, UK, while working with British Canadian International Education.  He currently manages the admissions team at Sable International: Study Abroad.

    Lekan is a lover of music. He is a vocalist and an instrumentalist. He loves to relax by watching movies or listening to good music. He also loves to spend time with his family.

     

  • Isabella Briar
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Isabella studied psychology at Stellenbosch University, and recently finished her master’s degree. She is a Study Abroad Adviser within Sable International's Study Abroad team. She uses her background in psychology to guide students towards finding the perfect university to study at. She loves meeting and connecting with students and providing them with a supportive and personalised journey to help make their dreams of studying abroad come true.

    Outside of work she loves to do anything that involves getting outdoors and enjoying all that Cape Town has to offer.

  • Megan Jacobs
    Admin Assistant

    Megan is from Woodstock in Cape Town. She spent most of her 20s living in Japan, in the prefectures of Iwate and Osaka. She worked at various schools and teaching different students between the ages of one and 80 years old. In 2023, she decided to relocate back to South Africa and settle down in Cape Town.

    Megan is an Admin Assistant in our Study Abroad department in Cape Town.

    Outside of work she enjoys cycling, thrifting and trying out new restaurants. She is a very artistic person and loves learning how to upcycle things. She enjoys making handmade rugs and wall hangings in her spare time.

  • Megan Williams
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Megan grew up in Johannesburg, then moved to the UK where she lived for five years. In the UK, she gained a Diploma in Business Studies and completed her undergraduate studies at University of Chichester. There she gained an Honours degree in Business and Human Resource Management.

    Prior to starting at Sable International, she worked in the marketing industry and the international student recruitment Industry.

    At Sable International will use her personal experience of studying abroad to communicate with students and guide them on what the best international programmes would be for them. Additionally, she will communicate with students face to face, either at their school, in our offices, and at events or career expos.

    Outside of work Megan loves keeping active, being outdoors, travelling, and spending time with her friends and family as well as her Springer Spaniel puppy (who goes everywhere with her).

  • Amy Karabus
    Business Relations Adviser

    Amy grew up on the West Coast of Cape Town and then attended the South African College of Applied Psychology (SACAP). While studying a Bachelor of Social Sciences Honours (BPsych Equivalent), she developed a keen understanding of working across diverse demographics during her practical training.

    Amy utilises her interpersonal training and skills as a Study Abroad Adviser. She is able to assess and guide students to the best international programmes for their education goals. In addition to this, she builds relationships with schools and tertiary institutions.

    In her free time, you can find Amy enjoying the outdoors or in (under) the ocean.

  • Daniella Xavier
    Admin Assistant

    Daniella grew up in Johannesburg, Gauteng whereby she recently obtained a BCom Strategic Management degree from Varsity College.

    Prior to joining Sable International, she worked in the hospitality sector in Greece for six months, acquiring skills such as customer service, communication and teamwork.

    At Sable International she will utilise these skills to ensure that our clients experience exceptional customer service whilst assisting and supporting students to accomplish their dreams of furthering their education abroad.

    Outside of work she enjoys spending quality time with her friends and family, cooking and being outdoors.

  • Ashley Madawo
    Admissions Adviser

    Ashley is a focused and driven person who loves adventure. She started as an Assistant/Administrator at Quantum Gas and Oil, before becoming a cold caller for Baker’s Real Estate. Most recently, she worked as a social media consultant for Yeu’s Handmade.

    As an Admissions Adviser, she helps students with university placements, applications and enquiries. She is also currently studying Law part-time at the University of South Africa.

    Outside of work, she spends most of her time with her family and friends, doing fun activities like watching movies and attending festivals.

  • Olusola Adebesin
    Receptionist

    Olusola graduated with a degree in Library and Information Science from Tai Solarin University of Education, Ijebu Ode and, after her NYSC, worked with a couple of multinational companies, such as NIMC and Ison Experience, as a customer service representative.

    In her role at Sable International, Olusola welcomes clients to the Nigerian office and ensures their needs are met.

    Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and reading, growing her knowledge every day, and spending time with her loved ones.

  • Sandra Odunze
    International Study Adviser

    Sandra studied BSc (Hons) Library and Information Science with a minor in education. During her NYSC, she moved to Lagos and began her career in Education Counselling.

    Her experience in the industry spans over three years. Before joining IE Abroad (now Sable International Study Abroad), she worked with Kaplan Open Learning as an Admissions Officer for the African Region.

    She is currently an International Study Adviser with Sable International Study Abroad. She handles direct leads and applications from the Nigeria market and her position allows her to assist prospective students to find the right schools and ensure the application process is seamless.

    When she is not helping students, she enjoys reading, listening to music, movie dates and travelling.

  • Victory Immaculate
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Victory holds a degree in Sociology and Anthropology and a masters in Public Administration & Personal Management. She worked with the West African Examination Council and then as a Higher Academic Consultant for over six years before she joined Sable International as a Study Adviser.

    Born and raised in Nigeria, she enjoys giving career counselling to young minds. Outside of work, she enjoys traveling and listening to music.

  • Elvin Kamwebaze
    Administrative Assistant

    Elvin has spent most of his life in the Kampala suburbs. However, he enjoys checking in on his ancestral home in Western Uganda every so often. He holds a bachelor's degree from Uganda Christian University Mukono and intends to pursue a master's degree as well. 

    Prior to joining Sable International, he worked as a customer service officer and a study abroad counsellor at Grand Studies Africa, an education consultancy, where he gained great knowledge and experience in the processes and procedures around applying to international universities. 

    He is a humble, enthusiastic and result-orientated person who loves to try out new things and learn new skills. In his free time he enjoys watching series and movies, playing video games, socialising and travel.

  • Benjamin Ajagbe
    Admissions Adviser

    Benjamin holds a master’s degree (MTech) and has over seven years of work experience in marketing education products and services, international student recruitment, and student visa counselling.

    He has also worked ha both inbound and outbound customers relationship officer with one of the most outstanding telecommunication companies in Nigeria. Prior to joining Sable International in February 2023, he also worked with Erudite Consults and UNICAF Educational Services Institute in Lagos, Nigeria.

    Outside of work, he likes reading books, learning and practicing programming languages and also listening to music.

  • Brenda Karungi
    Administrator and Operations Officer

    Brenda is an innovative, strategic and forward-thinking person with a degree in Journalism and Communication from Makerere University, majoring in Public Relations, and five years of experience in the field of Communication and Public Relations.

    She has excellent communication skills and strong interpersonal skills. Before she joined Sable International, she worked with agricultural cooperatives in Uganda as the Communications Officer.

    At Sable International she works as an administrator, managing daily activities of the office whilst ensuring the team works effectively.

    She is an outgoing person who loves traveling, reading, farming and gardening in her free time.

  • Ruth Daniel
    Admissions Adviser

    Ruth Oluwaseyi Daniel graduated from the Federal University of Technology, Minna with a B.Sc. Project Management Technology. Her study focused on gaining the skills required to become a successful project manager, ensuring a job is done effectively, on time, on budget and to the right quality.  

    Before joining Sable International, she was employed at IDP and then at Negxy Concept Limited as a study abroad consultant. There she was able to make valuable contributions to the respective organisations she had previously worked with.

    Ruth joined the Sable International Study Abroad team in Nigeria as a student adviser, where she will help students find the right career path and university of their dreams.

    Outside of work, Ruth loves to go sightseeing and watching great educational movies.

  • Comfort Munenge
    Admissions Adviser

    Comfort has over five years working experience in the higher education industry, working in the enrolments and customer service departments. He studied at at Monash University in South Africa earning a Bachelor of Business Science degree.

    Before joining Sable International, he worked at Unicaf University. At Sable International he will work in recruiting in prospective students and providing them with guidance, advice and the enrolment process for partner universities.

    Outside of work, Comfort enjoys jogging, cooking, baking, reading and spending time with his family and friends.

     

  • Chika Esom
    Marketing Officer

    Born and raised in Yola, Northern Nigeria, Chika obtained his degree from the University of Nigeria Nsukka, after which he worked for various institutions and organisations, starting out as a graphic designer and writer before getting into Marketing with GFCC and LightHouse.

    He handles every aspect of marketing, promotions, event management as well as designing and publishing materials that may be needed for promotions. He is studious, loves learning new things and visiting new places. He enjoy things that challenge him.

    Outside work, he enjoy playing games, watching and playing football, and writing and drawing comics and novels.

  • Elizabeth Odiakaose
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Elizabeth is a graduate of Lagos State University and has a degree in communication technology. Before joining Sable International she worked as a sales representative/customer service representative for five years and has also worked as a student advisor.

    She will assist the Nigerian Study Abroad team in offering consultation to international students and help them understand various educational programs and admission procedures.

    Elizabeth has excellent interpersonal skills, is sociable and passionate about learning new skills.

    Outside of work she likes to read, watch documentaries, design her own clothes, attend events and also hang out with friends.

  • Marie Emmanuella
    Admin Assistant

    Marie Emmanuella was born in the East of DRC and grew up in the west. She can speak English, French, Swahili, and Lingala. She was educated in the Democratic Republic of Congo and in Uganda. She worked as a short-term model for Extreme Casting and for Geminine Multimedia as a public relation and a voice-off agent. She is now an Admin Assistant at Sable International in our Ugandan office.

    She is a very energetic and friendly person. She loves laughing, seeing others happy and meeting new people. In her free time she enjoys traveling, having fun with friends, watching movies, cooking and collect memories through photography and videography.

  • Natasha Usifoh
    Admissions Adviser

    Natasha Usifoh was born and raised in Lagos, Nigeria. She holds a bachelor’s degree in economics from Ambrose Alli University.

    Her professional journey began in the field of international education, where she worked as an educational consultant and international student recruitment officer. Previously, she contributed expertise to Trusted Edge Consult before joining Sable International in the same capacity.

    Her role as an admissions adviser entails managing the admissions process, including monitoring applications, responding to inquiries, recruiting prospective students and provide assistance with the enrollment process.

    She is a goal-oriented individual, driven by passion, resilient in the face of challenges, friendly and an attentive listener. She strives to make positive impact in all aspects of life.

    Outside of work she likes listening to good music, watching captivating movies, and conducting online research.

  • Kofoworola Olanrewaju
    Admissions Assistant

    Kofoworola has a B.Sc. in Agriculture from Kwara State University and has worked in the higher education and client service sectors for more than four years.

    She has assisted students in locating placements in affiliated schools while working with Maple Education Canada.

    She will be working with Sable International in advising students on the best schools and programs that would support their education at various study destinations.

    When she is not working, she likes to travel, unwind, and spend time watching movies.

  • Seyinfunmi Mojeed
    Admissions Adviser

    Seyifunmi Adeyinka Mojeed is an educational adviser for over five years. She is a passion-driven person who was born to be real, not to be perfect.

    She is eager to support organisations in building an impeccable reputation by providing top-class customer support. She has a strong ability to convince customers towards optimal sales through a high level of determination, positive attitude, and hard work in accordance with the established business development processes.

    Outside of work Seyifunmi enjoys spending time with her family and developing herself to be the best as what she does.

  • Josephine Banda
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Josephine is working towards a degree in mass communication and public relations at Cavendish University Zambia.

    Prior to starting at Sable International, she worked for Gatbro International Limited, one of Zambia's leading FMCG product distributors for three years, transitioning from in-field marketer to front desk and data entry assistant.

    She is a social media enthusiast with vast knowledge around social media algorithms, SEO and web traffic metrics. She spends most of her time outside work reading different genres of fictional books and, occasionally, research-related material.

  • Cynthia Tebandeke
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Cynthia is a versatile professional with a background in finance and marketing, holding a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration-Finance from Makerere University Business School.

    Prior to Sable International, she served as a student counselor and digital marketing manager at Global Study Uganda and Callisto Hair Salon. At Sable International, her role as a Student Adviser involves guiding students through studying abroad, assisting with applications, and providing crucial information. She prides myself on being a dedicated team player with strong communication skills.

    Outside of work, she enjoys socialising, music, travel, and cooking, finding balance between professional dedication and personal passions.

  • Azaria Mutyaba
    Marketing Assistant

    Innocent Azaria Mutyaba is from Kampala, Uganda. While he grew up in Uganda, he pursued his education in Ghana, Togo, South Africa, and Australia. He is fluent in English, Swahili and French and has a Bachelor’s degree in Economics and Management from Monash University.

    He worked with Detel Management Consultants Ltd in the marketing department where he was responsible for brand development and building. He is currently the assistant marketing coordinator for Sable International Uganda where brand development and visibility for Sable International will be his number one priority.

    Outside of work, he enjoys making music (especially EDM), playing video games, walking his dogs, and being social. 

  • Micheal Kasule
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Micheal Kasule is a senior visa and student counsellor with over three years of working experience in the field of Education Placement. He studied at Ndejje University in Mengo where he graduated with a degree in Social Works in 2013. Before joining Sable International he worked as a Student Counsellor and Marketing In-charge at Global Study Uganda.

    He is a team player, good listener, self-motivated and focused individual. At Sable International his role is to advise students on different university options, make student university and visa applications to all destinations that Sable International partners with.

    Outside of work he enjoys watching football, movies and doing research.

  • Prossy Namatovu
    Study Abroad Adviser

    Prossy is a professional sales development expert with a demonstrated history of working with the education placement, insurance, events, advertising and publication companies. She has a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting and Business Management from Makerere University.

    Before joining Sable International, she worked with Lyfefund Innovation Technologies Inc. as a sales manager in student international recruitment. She connected students from international schools and exclusive secondary schools to universities abroad in countries like Canada, UK, USA, Australia and Ireland.

    Her role at Sable International is to guide, support and advise students who want study abroad to apply to programmes at their preferred universities, ensure they have appropriate visas and help answer any inquiries they may have about curriculum and preferred destinations.

    She is self-motivated, a good listener, problem solver, and a focused and enthusiastic individual with a passion in sales.

    Outside of work she likes reading books, listening to music and helping her friends out.

  • Sarah Kaijuka
    Admissions and Visa Adviser

    Sarah Kaijuka is an Admissions and Visa Adviser whose responsibilities involve acting as a primary knowledge source for study and visa application procedures and supporting students through these processes while providing exceptional customer service.

    She graduated from Makerere University with a degree in Education and was a high school teacher, a role she held for 12 years.

    Outside work, she finds inspiration and enjoyment in nature, reading, music and football and is an avid fan of Arsenal FC.  Her favourite author is Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie and dream nature destination is New Zealand.

  • Aisha Yar'adua
    Head of Operations

    Aisha is a consummate accounting professional with a B.Sc. in Applied Accounting from Oxford Brookes University and a chartered member of the Association of Chartered and Certified Accountants (ACCA).

    Prior to joining Sable International Study Abroad, she was the Head of Finance and Administration at Kanyi Karibi-Whyte and Hastrup, where she was able to enhance efficiency by implementing various cost-effective and internal procedure processes.

    She joined Sable International Study Abroad in August 2022 as the Operations Coordinator and recently promoted to the position of Head of Operations where she currently overseas operational functions to ensure the smooth running of the company.

    She is passionate about family and helping other succeed. She loves watching movies and attending parties in her spare time.

  • David Mbaziira
    Marketing Coordinator: Uganda

    David studied at Makerere University Business School and completed a professional course in Marketing through the UMI study centre. Before joining Sable International, he worked with Grand Studies Africa Limited.

    He is skilled in communication and leadership and enjoys working as a teamplayer in a diverse and multicultural environment. He speaks three languages and is constantly expanding his knowledge.

    Outside of work he enjoys participating in sports, especially volleyball and badminton, traveling, reading, making new friends, picking up new information, watching movies, helping the needy and surrounding himself with nature.

  • Halm Murungi
    Regional Director: Uganda

    Halm is an experienced business development and management professional, Founder of Grand Studies Africa (a student-centred consultancy powered by IE Abroad) and now partner and in-country director of Sable International's Uganda Study Abroad division.

    He holds a bachelor’s degree in business computing from the Islamic University in Uganda, with a keen focus on success, and resilience. He is a great believer in the adage “ease is a greater threat to success than hardship”.

    He is a husband and father of three boys. In his free time he likes to travel and finds it rejuvenates him and enables him to return to work with full force, ready to conquer.
