Job Purpose: 

As the Sales Assistant your primary responsibilities will include playing a pivotal role in supporting our sales team and providing exceptional customer service to our clients. You will gain valuable experience in the Forex market and the financial services industry as a whole.

You’re perfect for this position if you:

• Have a bachelor’s degree in business administration, marketing, communication or related field
• Are highly organised with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Are enthusiastic and self-motivated
• Are proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Have strong problem-solving skills

Your role and responsibilities:

Among other tasks, your main responsibilities will include:

Sales assistance:

• Assisting the Sales Team with day-to-day activities, such as prospecting for new clients, qualifying leads and scheduling appointments
• Providing exceptional customer service to existing and potential clients by phone, email and in person (if applicable)
• Attending to the co-ordination of sales-related tasks on behalf of the sales team
• Researching and preparing client profiles and market data to support the sales team
• Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client records on our CRM system
• Any other tasks that assist in a smooth client experience with Sable International

Campaign coordination:

• Assisting in planning and executing marketing campaigns across online and offline channels
• Coordinating with internal teams and external partners to ensure seamless campaign implementation
• Monitoring and reporting on the performance of marketing campaigns

Event coordination:

• Assisting in the planning and execution of marketing events, expos and conferences
• Coordinating logistics, including promotional materials and post-event evaluations

Market research:

• Conducting market research to identify trends, competitive landscape and opportunities for improvement
• Staying up to date on foreign exchange rates, market trends and relevant financial news
• Providing insights and recommendations based on research findings

Analytics and reporting:

• Tracking, analysing and reporting on key sales metrics for the business
• Tracking and analysing key marketing metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns
• Preparing regular reports on Forex SA marketing and sales performances for management review
